Camper Haul RV LLC operates https://camperhaulrv.com/. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. We wrote it in plain language so you can tell what each part actually means for you.

Information We Collect

Order details. When you buy something, we collect the items ordered, the order total, the shipping address, the billing address, and the order date. We need this to fill your order and to handle any return later.

Contact information. This is your name, email address, and phone number. We use it to send order confirmations, shipping updates, and answers to your questions.

Payment data. We do not store your full card number, expiration date, or security code on our servers. When you check out, your card details go directly to our payment processor, which is certified to handle card data. We receive only the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and a yes-or-no answer on whether the charge went through.

Device and browsing data. Like most websites, our servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the time of your visit. This tells us which pages are slow, which are broken, and which products people are looking at.

Information you send us. If you email us, fill out our contact form, or ask for a shipping quote, we keep that message and anything you include in it, such as a VIN, a photo of a damaged part, or your ZIP code.

Information we do not collect. We do not ask for your Social Security number, driver’s license number, or health information. If you send us something we did not ask for, we delete it.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use three kinds:

Necessary cookies keep your cart full as you move between pages and keep you signed in. The site does not work without them.
Analytics cookies count visits and show us how people move through the site. They tell us that a page was viewed, not who you are by name.
Preference cookies remember choices such as your ZIP code for shipping estimates so you do not have to enter it again.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, checkout will not work. Some browsers also send a Global Privacy Control signal, and we treat that signal as a request to opt out of any sharing for targeted advertising.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Process your order, charge your payment method, and ship your items
Send order confirmations, tracking numbers, and delivery notices
Answer your questions about fitment, shipping, warranty, and returns
Process returns, refunds, and freight claims
Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized charges
Keep the records we are required to keep for tax and business purposes
Improve our product pages, search, and checkout

We send marketing email only to people who ask for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop your order and shipping notices.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the past twelve months.

We do share information with companies that help us run the store, and only the information they need to do their job:

Payment processors, who verify and charge your payment method
Shipping carriers and freight companies, who need your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order
Analytics providers, who receive usage data about how the site is used
Email and helpdesk providers, who store the messages you send us
Our website host, which stores the site and its order records

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order, or when we need to protect our rights, our customers, or public safety. If our business is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the buyer, and this policy will continue to apply to that information.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep order and payment records for at least seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. Contact form messages and support emails are kept for three years. Analytics data is kept for 26 months. Marketing lists are kept until you unsubscribe.

When a retention period ends, we delete the information or strip out anything that identifies you.

How We Protect Your Information

Our site uses TLS encryption, so the information you type into a form is scrambled while it travels to us. Access to order records is limited to employees who need it to do their work, and those accounts require individual logins. Card data never touches our servers, because our processor handles it.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by California law and any other law that applies to you.

Your Privacy Rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act give you the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Delete your personal information, subject to exceptions such as completing a transaction or meeting a legal record-keeping duty
Correct personal information that is inaccurate
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, though as stated above we do not sell or share it
Limit the use of sensitive personal information, though we do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined in the law
Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights. We will not raise your prices, refuse your order, or lower your service level because you made a request.

If you live in another state with a consumer privacy law, such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, or Oregon, you have similar rights and we honor them the same way.

How to make a request. Email info@camperhaulrv.com with the subject line “Privacy Request,” or call (321) 297-4535. Tell us which right you want to use. We will verify your identity, usually by matching the email address or order details we already have on file, so that we do not hand your information to someone else. We respond within 45 days and can extend that by another 45 days if the request is complex. We will tell you if we need the extra time.

An authorized agent can make a request for you if they provide written permission signed by you.

Children’s Privacy

Our site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email info@camperhaulrv.com and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

Our pages sometimes link to manufacturer sites, parts catalogs, and financing partners. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we do not control what they collect. Read their policies before you enter information on their pages.

International Visitors

Our store serves the United States, and our servers and staff are located here. If you visit our site from another country, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws where you live. Using our site means you understand this.

Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If we make a significant change, we will post a notice on our homepage for at least 30 days. Please review this page from time to time.
